REPRO FOR AN EXAMPLE OF THIS BUG:

1. Set up two prims as follows:
1a. Rez a default cube on the ground, change its X and Y dimensions to10m, and change its colour to red.
1b. Rez a default cube on top of the red prim, change its X and Y dimensions to 5m, and change colour to blue.
1c. You should now have something that looks like (for reference) the screenshot in setup.jpg. But move your camera to the top of this build, facing downward.

2. Enable "Hide Selected" (Advanced menu > Rendering > Hide Selected)
3. Now, be sure to exit Edit mode.
4. Right-click on the blue prim, but don't choose any pie option.
= Observed & Expected: The blue prim is selected/hidden/highlighted, and you can see the red prim in view, lying underneath the blue prim.

5. Now, right-click on the red prim
Observe: The blue prim retains the selection/remains hidden/stays highlighted. The red prim (which you can see) cannot be selected/hidden/highlighted.
=Expected: Red prim is selected/hidden and highlighted.

Workaround: At Step 4, choose Edit.. from the Pie menu to enter Edit mode. You can now select the red prim buried underneath.

This bug also would affects a HUD in the same way, if it was a HUD that obstructs your view of another prim... until you enter Build mode, you could not right-click on the next prim behind it.

The "build mode" workaround doesn't work when you're trying to click on a hidden prim in a HUD, because the "touch" pie option doesn't show up for your own attachments.

This also seems to impact any alpha related touching in world.... at location http://slurl.com/secondlife/Bikkini%20Abyss/229/230/1101 there is an Easter tree at the moment. In that tree is a kite. That kite, while visible, is only touchable when there it no tree prim in the way (even though it is alpha). I can right-click edit that item through the tree prim- but I can't touch it. (meaning have start_touch fire). Of course, if I take "Touch" from the pie, it works. Clicking on the kite itself is where it fails.

selecting touch here will work. but if I just try to left kick- the kite does not get the click.
